Each Biophilia song has a separate science-related theme and a musical element. These topics are the basis for each learning session. The program is intended for all, and no previous knowledge or experience of music or science is needed. The unique musical interfaces of the Biophilia Apps Suite even the gap between children with musical knowledge and those with little or none. We put importance on that both parts of the program, the musical and the scientific, are give equal value in the class room. Both should enrich and compliment each other. An amazing team of teachers from Reykjavik City Schools helped develop these “Ideas for teaching”.
